Agriturismo Due Ponti

The agricultural centre "Due Ponti" is glad to welcome you into the wonderful Tuscany countryside lying alongside the Sterza torrent, where you can relax, enjoy uncontaminated nature and wonderful landscapes. The building is placed in the centre of an agricultural factory extending for about 200 hectars, among wheat fields, sunflowers, forest trees and mediterranenan bushes. It is an old construction building restored following the most classical features of Tuscany style, such as whole stone facade and plain furniture. The four appartments (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) have: indipendent entrance, 4 or 6 beds, living room and habitable kitchen, large bathroom with shower, matrimonial room and double room (with the possibility to be turned into a matrimonial one), and all comforts such as: refrigerant with freezer, oven, heating and TV. Things to do During your stay you can walk or do mountain biking through green paths, and admire the crystal water of our pretty little lake, where it will be possible to go fishing. You will admire the suggestive ruins of the medieval Rocca di Pietracassia (an old castle dominating the whole valley) and you'll meet all the animals who collaborate with our agricultural activity: cats, pigs, geese and hens and our nice dogs Pasquale, Zara and Briciola. Close to our agricultural centre there's a pretty little Church too, part of our property, where sometimes it is possible to attend the divine service, anyway always opened for those who want to say a prayer, that is always a good thing!!!! Places to visit From the "Due Ponti" it takes only 10 minutes to reach the village of Chianni where you can taste typical Tuscany dishes and a good glass of wine, into the characteristical restaurants, always surrounded by nice and happy people. And where in November it takes place the famous annual wild boar feast. And for those who want to relax more in only 15 minutes they can reach the thermal city of Casciana Terme. Moreover, it is easy to reach the most important artistical towns of Tuscany, it takes: 30 min. to Volterra, 50 min. to Siena and San Giminiano, 1 hour to Florence, Livorno, Pisa and 30 min. to the sea (Cecina, Castiglioncello).
